Folegandros is a veautiful island located in the centre of the Cyclades, and is one that attracts a huge number of visitors each year. It is a very picturesque island, and the charming windmills combined with the Cycladic style houses and blue of the Aegean Sea provide it with a truly magnificent landscape.
The port of Folegandros is Karavostasi, which is also a very popular tourist resort on the island. The capital of Folegandros is the town of Chora ( Hora ), which is situated approximately 3km from the port.
The town of Chora is home to the interetsing medieval castle. The lovely white houses and the natural scenery all around create a wonderful welcome for visitors arriving to Folegandros.
