Situated north-west of Lake Plastira is the village of Kalivia Pezoula. Kalivia is a traditional village, close by the most accessible part on the famous Lake Plastira.
This village is considered one of the most popular areas that are ideal
as an accommodation base while at the same time, offers access for excursions
and exploration around the entire area. The village is fully organized for

Next to the "Hotel Megdovas", at the junction towards the village
Neraida is where you will find the traditional "Taverna Zarnavalos",
that has been operating since 1947.

by the local live stock, cooked in the casserole, or sizzling BBQ. Here
you will succumb to delightful traditional tastes such as pork in the ceramic
pot, lamb kleftiko, cock in wine sauce with pasta, potatoes or traditional
made noodles.

to taste wild boar stifado ( cooked with shallots ) as well as dear. You
can accompany your meals with the famous local wine, Mesenikola, or any
botled wine of your choice. Fresh season salads compliment in the best way
your lunch or dinner.
