The most eastern of the Dodecanese islands is the picturesque island of Kastelorizo. It is a very traditional island and one that has not changed much through the years, making it the ideal destination for an authentic Greek island holiday.
The island is home to a number of interesting and beautiful sites, such as the main town of the island, which unravels itself in an array of colours and shapes. The simplistic and traditional lifestyle will make you feel as though you have stepped back in time.
There are some lovely beaches in Kastelorizo which are perfect for a cool refreshing swim during the hot summer months. As well as the beaches, there are numerous other places of interest that are well worth visiting.
For your accommodation on the island, it is best to try and book prior to arrival, as facilities on the island are slightly limited. There are a nice choice of tavernas where you can enjoy a tasty meal.
