Donousa Island - Cyclades Greece

The charming island of Donousa is part of what is known as the "Small Cyclades", which is situated is a spot between the large islands of Paros and Naxos. Ironically, Donousa is the largest island of the "Small Cyclades".

Donousa is a perfect holiday and vacation destination for those looking to experience and more traditional and authentic Greek island holiday. It is an island that has not changed much over the years, and though an important role, tourism has not overtaken the local values and traditions.

There are some nice beaches on the island where you can swim and relax under the sun. The small size of Donousa means that it is very easy to travel around and to see all the parts of the island.

Accommodation on Donousa is somewhat limited, so it is advisable to book in advance before heading to the island. For visitors to the island, there are some lovely local tavernas and restaurants where you can enjoy a tasty meal.

In our Donousa travel guide, you will find a wide selection of useful information for your holidays and vacations to the island including information on the towns and villages, hotels and accommodation, entertainment, nightlife, sites and museums, beaches, churches and much more for your travels to Donousa.

Our Greek language travel guide to Donousa can be found at www.δονούσα.com and is a wonderful resource for Greek speakers for this delightful island in Greece.
